Travis Eliason is a biomedical engineer in the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Section at Southwest Research Institute.  Over his career he has worked on a broad range of technology areas including developing high fidelity probabilistic finite element models of the human body, injury risk prediction, experimental biomechanics, and most recently the development of SwRI’s ENABLE markerless biomechanics technology.  As part of the team developing ENABLE he has focused on developing technology that will facilitate the transition of biomechanics research from the laboratory out into the real word.  The applications for an accurate, easy to use, markerless biomechanics tracking system are nearly endless across many different domains including sports, military, healthcare, product design, ergonomics, etc.
