Dr. Chris Shumeyko is a Senior Associate within Booz Allen Hamilton’s Chief Technology Office, where he leads efforts in artificial intelligence (AI) focused on Predictive Maintenance (PMx), Logistics, and Supply Chain solutions across the Defense sector. In this role, Chris manages AI-focused client delivery while also partnering with teams across Booz Allen to identify AI integration opportunities in support of varying client missions.  Prior to joining Booz Allen in 2022, Chris served as both a Product Manager and Technical Advisor in the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Joint Artificial Intelligence Center’s (JAIC) where he enabled development of Joint Logistics (JL) capabilities while also supporting AI education initiatives across the Department. He oversaw PMx capability development efforts with organizations from across Academia, Industry, and Government and provided technical guidance and insights to the JL Director to achieve the goal of increased mission readiness across the Joint Services.

Concurrently to his professional career, Chris has volunteered for the past 14 years with the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA), a 5000-plus member nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase awareness of team-centric skiing and snowboarding across the country. He has served in a variety of leadership positions throughout the organization, most recently as its President from 2020-2023. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Lafayette College and PhD from Lehigh University, both in Mechanical Engineering and has spent time teaching in higher education and performing fundamental research.
