Dr. Dave Brunner has over 13 years of experience serving the military in the field of sport and performance psychology. From 2012-2018 as a member of the Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness Training Center Directorate of Curriculum (CSF2-DoC) team, he served as the lead for all Quality Assurance and Quality Enhancement efforts while supporting curriculum development and delivery; along with the training and certification of all new hires. Concurrent with these duties, Dr. Brunner managed the Cognitive Enhancement for Performance (CEPP) program for the Army Human Performance Group (AHPG); providing the Special Operations and Intelligence communities with holistic human performance training solutions. He currently manages SAIC’s Holistic Human Performance Program (H2P2); which includes the delivery of a data driven holistic human performance training solutions for the Army and the Air Force. Prior to joining SAIC, Brunner has spent over 25 years coaching football at the collegiate and secondary levels. He served as the head football coach at two different 4-A high schools in North Carolina and South Carolina, and as a position coach and coordinator at two different Division I collegiate programs; the University of Idaho and Charleston Southern University. Further, he authored curriculum and taught classes in coaching education, leadership, and the philosophy, psychology, and management of sport. Brunner received his Ph.D. from the University of Idaho in the Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology of Sport.
