Mona Bhuta – Athlete Engineering Summit

Mona Bhuta is currently President of Innovative Sports Training, Inc, the developers and providers of The MotionMonitor real-time biomechanics custom solutions. Mona joined the company in 2001 as a Client Support Engineer following graduation with an MS degree from the University of Michigan’s Mechanical Engineering program. Mona earned her BS from Mississippi State University’s Agricultural and Biological Engineering program while playing for MSU’s Women’s Tennis Team. During her tenure with The MotionMonitor, she has championed the development of hybrid systems that combine data collection from combinations of active optical, passive optical, electromagnetic trackers, markerless tracking and inertial measurement units (IMU). Mona has over 22 years of experience in the motion capture industry, providing consultation for a wide range of clients in academia, sports, clinics, hospitals and ergonomic settings.
