 Col Savageau is the IMA to the Chief, Combat Operations, HQ AFRC, Robins AFB, Goergia. She is the principal advisor to the MAJCOM commander and Director of Air, Space and Information Operations on the management, training, readiness and standardization of all personnel and equipment in the Combat Operations portfolio of AFRC Fighter, Bomber, RPA and C2 assets. 

Colonel Savageau received her commission from the United States Air Force Academy in May 1998. She earned her pilot wings from Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training, Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, in October 1999 and has served as an F-16 pilot, instructor pilot, and evaluator pilot. 

She has operational experience in Southeast Asia during Operation Southern Watch over the skies of Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, as well as operational experience flying in Korea, Singapore and Poland. She participated in the build up to Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2002, and also flew in support of Operation Noble Eagle from 2002-2004, following the attacks of September 11, 2001. Colonel Savageau separated from active duty in 2007 and joined the 944th Fighter Wing’s Total Force Enterprise as a Traditional Reservist and F-16 Instructor Pilot in the 301st Fighter Squadron and later the 69th Fighter Squadron. Colonel Savageau is a Command Pilot with more than 2,500 flying hours, including combat. Colonel Savageau is a founding member of Chick Fighter Pilots Association, a group committed connecting female fighter pilots and encouraging young women to take the leap into fighter aviation. She is also a published author, motivational speaker and a civilian F-16 experimental pilot. Prior to her current position, she was the Deputy Commander, 944th Fighter Wing, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona.
